I have seen all of these bands live except Pink Floyd(too young), Opeth(that might change this fall), and Agalloch My heart breaks because I'm too young to see most of my favorite bands (The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin). However, Opeth is one of the few bands that I have seen live. And it was in a tiny-ass venue. It was AMAZING. Even though my then-boyfriend accidentally gave me a black eye. |

My favorite artists of all time (the ones that haven't changed regardless of how old I am or current phase): - Death Cab for Cutie
- Billie Holliday
- The Black Keys
- Amy Winehouse
- Lil' Jon
- Muse
And apparently Iron & Wine, Bon Iver, and the Editors because they take up 35% of my Top 25 Most Played on my iPod. |

I like music a lot, and I find it quite interesting to see what everyone else is into. At the top of my list are:
-Dream Theater (Progressive rock with a hell of a lot of talent)
-Neutral Milk Hotel (I don't even know what to classify this as, but I love it and wish that there had been more albums made)
-Pain of Salvation (Very emotionally charged [and occasionally emotionally painful] progressive rock)
-Pink Floyd (Classic/early progressive rock)
-Blackmore's Night (Kind of a mix of celtic, folk, and rock)
-Loreena McKennit (More just celticish/folkish)
-Lady GaGa (I think you know her style)
-Ke$ha (You probably know her style, too)
-Spock's Beard (Progressive rock, also with a lot of talent, but more on the end of "Hey, man, we can sing in many-part harmony and play our instruments at the same time and do it live,")
I'd say that's about it for now.

Not going to provide a whole list (not that it would be really long -- I am not that well versed in music) but I gotta say that KT Tunstall is my home girl. Her voice is so earthy and amazing. If I could sing properly, I would sound like her, Adele, or Florence and the Machine.
