My absolute favourite (for now, at least!) is Bon Iver. Cannot get enough. Past that, though: - DeYarmond Edison
- McFly
- Charlie Simpson
- Modest Mouse
- Yann Tiersen
- Ludovico Einaudi
- The Used
- Is Shania Twain 'embarrassing'? 'Cause I seriously love her.

I personally listen to songs primarily, rather than artists. As a post on Unpopular Opinions a while ago said, I don't listen to bands, I listen to music. There are, however, a few bands whose songs I have consistently enjoyed. - Rush
- Evanescence
- Smashing Pumpkins
- Nightwish
- Megadeth (particularly Rust in Peace; easily one of my favorite albums ever)
- Metallica (but only Ride the Lightning through Black Album)
- Bornholm (very little-known Hungarian melodic black-metal band)
- Autumn Above (also very little-known local band; they describe their style as acoustic progressive indie rock)
Edit: MODEST MOUSE. <3 <3 Wow....what an eloquent and meaningful post, Tori. I think dropping the usual rigor we apply to our grammar is one of the best compliments a grammarian can give, Tori.

I just recently downloaded a generous amount of OFWGKTA albums, and I have enjoyed Frank Ocean and Earl Sweatshirt's the most. I can't wait for Ocean's Def Jam re-release; the packaging is part of the experience for me.
Other than that, I enjoy Casiokids, Starfucker, and SebastiAn. Yes, I really am that esoteric in real life, it's a fatal flaw.

I really like Skillet. Recently, I found Noah and the Whales. They're basically awesome. I listen to a lot of top 40 crap, because it's fun and energetic.

I absolutely love Eisley. Sherri and Stacy DuPree seem to have a way of reading my mind and transcribing it in the most eloquent way.
Lately I've also been listening to a lot of Copeland, The Envy Corps, Athlete (<33333), The Honey Trees, and States.

I really should download some Athlete....the only song I've heard by them is "Chances", which was featured in the GORGEOUS Doctor Who episode Vincent and The Doctor.

fun.! Also, Sufjan<33 Yes, I love fun. The Gambler is my favorite song. And Sufjan is amazing, I love John Wayne Gacy Jr. If you like Sufjan, you should look up Childish Gambino's album Illin-Noise! The Sufjan Stevens Remix album, it's great.
