All I've been listening to for the past few months is Talking Heads, a little Bowie, and stupid amounts of Korean pop.

My main favourite bands are: My Passion Avenged Sevenfold 30 Seconds to Mars Yes, I know no one has heard of My Passion. They're an electronic-goth-rock-pop-punk band from Hertfordshire, in England, and they're stupidly good. They do polarise opinion a lot though... Other bands I like include: My Chemical Romance Kill Hannah Green Day Fall Out Boy Muse The Beatles Bullet For My Valentine Within Temptation And loads of other bands, who I can't quite remember right now. There's a lot of them. Oh, and I've seen 5 of those bands live. My Passion 26 times. Yes. 26 times.

I've heard of My Passion; they used to be in Kerrang! alllll the time (don't know about recently; I stopped getting it a long time ago).

Well, for music in English, my favourite by far is Green Day, and then in no particular order:
- Fall Out Boy - The Beatles - Boys Like Girls - Hedley - ...Lady Gaga <.< - Marianas Trench - Nirvana - Red Hot Chili Peppers
If we're going to go into artists that are pretty good, or god forbid go into my Korean/Japanese music favourites, we might be here forever xD

I've been taken with Radiohead a lot lately alongside Joanna Newsom. Led Zeppelin and Velvet Underground are always in the background somewhere as well.

Music is a HUGE part of my life. I cannot go a single day without music. And if I can't listen to music, I make it. I taught myself how to play piano when I was three (though I suck now), I played clarinet for five years, I taught myself how to play guitar two years ago, and I sing (A LOT I might add).
I am a huge modern rock fan. I love classic rock too, but I don't listen to it as often. So. Here are my favorite bands...
1) 3 Doors Down (THE BEST BAND IN THE UNIVERSE) 2) Skillet 3) Paramore 4) Fireflight 5) Breaking Benjamin 6) Flyleaf 7) Pillar 8) Evanescence 9) Linkin Park 10) Shinedown
My favorite songs right now...
1) When You're Young (3 Doors Down) 2) Unbreakable (Fireflight) 3) Awake and Alive (Skillet) 4) Secrets and Regrets (Pillar) 5) Bring Me To Life (Evanescence)

I like a range of music, though most of it is in the indie scene.
Instead of all bands I like, just bands I've seen and actually enjoyed live (in vague genres/alphabeticalish order)
Rock
- Anberlin - Children Collide - Gyroscope - LCD Soundsystem - The National - The Middle East - Wolfmother (though more their old stuff) - Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Electronic pop/rock (by which I mean pop or rock with some synths)
- Art Vs Science - Bag Raiders - Beach House - Bluejuice - Crystal Castles - Datarock - Flagfall - Foals - Gypsy and the Cat - James Blake - Matt & Kim - Parades - Philadelphia Grand Jury - Seekae - Stars - The Naked and Famous - The Temper Trap - Two Door Cinema Club - Vampire Weekend - Yeasayer
Pop
- Boy and Bear - Boy in a Box - Florence and the Machine - The Jezabels - Lissie - Megan Washington - Seeker Lover Keeper
Folksy/Country - Angus and Julia Stone - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes - Jack Johnson - Jenny and Johnny - Joshua Radin - Mumford and Sons - Tegan and Sarah
And bands I wish I could've seen back in their prime
Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd The Eagles Rolling Stones Cat Stevens Simon and Garfunkel
tl;dr - music is awesome and my most influential bands would probably be Stars, Pink Floyd, Two Door Cinema Club, Joshua Radin
edit: Wow I only just realised how many bands I've actually been to (and listed here are only the ones I particularly enjoyed haha)
