^Draco's beard. DRACO'S BEARD. My sister and I laughed about it all the way home.
And YES, that McGonagall scene; I almost burst into tears. It's my favourite part of the book, too.

I can't wait until all the webcomics/memes come out making fun of those beards. I'm disappointed I can't find them already...

I CRIED LIKE A WEE BABY! And the lady a seat over gave me some tissues so I could blow my nose.
What I don't understand is Lilly. What the hell? Why did she forsake Snape? Cause he insulted her? Bitch, you boyfriend/husband has been humiliating your best friend his entire school life and you fall in love with him!?

What I don't understand about Lily is why the fuck the casting people chose a young Lily with BROWN EYES. It's bad enough that Harry's eyes are blue (could they not have corrected that? I mean, really? Ten years, ten years they had to sort it out), but then to give Lily, the actual character, an actress with BROWN EYES - what, what, what the hell were they doing?

In regards to Harry.... The green contacts were no good. Daniel Radcliffe had a bad reaction to them, so they were out. In the first movie, I think?, they did a few scenes where they digitally redid his eye colour, but it proved to be too expensive. Notice that, in the movies, they never really state what colour Lily's eyes were, just that Harry had his mother's eyes.

Oh, that's interesting; didn't know that. That's a fair point.
And yeah, then they should've got a Lily with blue eyes. Or they could've given that kid contacts, or digitally altered hers, given that she didn't really have a huge part. I just feel like it was lazy.

Eh, true, but they also have to go based on experience, ability, etc. Digital alteration is expensive as well, so it's likely that that's why they didn't change them. As for contacts, it's possible that the actress had the same reaction as Radcliffe.

I found this picture the other day. I would just like to leave this here for the fandom.

I love wizard rock and basically all things Potter!

I'm watching the first movie! They're so tiny and everything is so much more magical than it is in the later movies. I have forgotten just how much they changed everything to fit the modern audience better. I wish they didn't. Especially all the side stories about ghosts and side-characters. They need to make a TV series out of these books, not just movies!
