I'm very happy! I definitely think I'll use it; it'll be really nice to have a place to discuss all English major-related things with (unfortunately, I don't even get that in my English lessons). As for other boards/sub-boards, it's hard to say right now, but I'm really excited about this.  |

I'll definitely be using this board. Thanks for finally making it! As far as other boards and sub-boards go, I think their need will become apparent in time, so if we just wait to see how the board evolves, we won't need to guess what will become necessary.

Unfortunately, I think that's just a board default.....if this were a few years ago I could probably change it, but it's been a while since my proboards roleplaying days ended and my coding skills are rusty.  |

I actually like the smaller quote text. It makes it a lot easier to differentiate between what is being quoted and what is a response. ...although the giant box around the text could have been an indicator, too. But whatever. Great forum so far. |

Wow, I really like this; I read on the blog that there was a forum, and I my reaction was something like, "What, what, what?"
I think there should be a sub-forum for people to introduce themselves and announce if they will be unable to log on for a while. It seems that "Live Outside the Fez" is for general topics, so if it gets made, it ought to be placed in there.

While creating my account I noticed only two options for gender. This requirement puts people falling out of the gender binary in quite a bind. Is that changeable? Can selecting a gender not be required for this forum or can more options be added? Other than that, the forum seems great so far. I can't wait to watch it grow and see what it develops into. I feel like I need to pay extra attention to my grammar and spelling while typing posts, though. Edit: I just went in to modify my profile and I noticed there was an option which lets a poster hide their gender. That's handy, but I still wish there were more options avaiable. Several people are not just one or the other! |

I'm not sure if this is just me, but when I am viewing a board and am looking at the list of topics, the color given to topics I have recently viewed is very similar to the background color of the forum, making it hard to read. Can that be changed?
Edit: This also applies to the hyperlinks in people's usernames when viewing a thread.

Ah, proboards...we meet again.
When I heard that we had a forum, I fangirl spazzed all over the computer desk. *ahem* Quite excited to see/use this lovely thing.
Might I suggest an introductions forum and a general talk forum? A "games" section would also be good for those who enjoy such forum things. Most of the forums I'm in have something similar to each of these.

I can't be the only one who thought that the number of non-macro submissions on the tumblr was getting a little...um...excessive. n.n
EDIT - The visited link color blends too well into the background, and the main text color is kinda hard to read. Maybe change the latter to white?

I think the main text being black is just fine, but the visited link color definitely needs to be changed. Changing the main text to white would be... very, very not-good. |
