I'm working my way through a reread of The Wheel of Time series; currently on the fourth, and, predictably, planning to read the fifth next (unless I'm distracted by something shiny). Are these any good? I have heard good and bad things about them. I guess since you are doing a re-read they must be good. I kind of want to read them but they look so labor-intensive. I need to be persuaded on them.

I finished Catching Fire last night and read Mockingjay this morning. Now I'm reading a book called Embracing Defeat about Japan post WWII. I don't usually read a lot of non-fiction but this is a topic I'm interested in. I'll probably switch off between this and American Gods.

I went to Waterstones yesterday, and got three new books. I've started with Robopocalypse, by Daniel H. Wilson. It sounds like a really cheesy title, but its surprisingly good

Samuel Butler's The Way of All Flesh. Really, really good so far.

I actually finished We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson today.
I honestly felt the need to clap at the end, but I was in class and that would have led to too many questions...

Right now I'm reading Inkspell by Cornelia Funke. I recently found out there was a third novel in the Inkheart series, so I thought I'd re-read them all. I'm not enjoying it as much as I did when I was younger, honestly. I'm finding the language very stiff, but that probably has something to do with the translation.
I love the concept of the story, so I shall trudge on!

I am currently reading The City of Ember. I'm only a few pages in but I really like it so far.
My reading list is huge, but I'll probably go onto A Lion Among Men (the third in the Wicked series) after finishing Ember.
During these I will be burning through a re-read of all the HP books (and re-watch of the films) in prep for July 15th, as well as Copper Thunderbird by Marie Clements, a play I'm auditioning for in July, and My Name is Seepeetza by Shirley Sterling.

I got the third one for Christmas after it came out (my boyfriend and I actually got each other a copy of it completely by coincidence and we wound up opening them at the same time) but it had been so long since I read the first ones that I planned on rereading them before reading it. Well, I obviously haven't gotten around to it because Inkdeath is still on my shelf, unread. It'll have to go on my summer reading list!

I have also the third book, and I must agree that I did not like them as much as I did when I was a kid. Back when I read it first, I thought it was the best thing that ever happened to me. But then I think a couple years passed, I got the third novel, and started re-reading the first two, and I was bogged down. It took so long to get to the end of each novel that by the time I did, I forgot what happened in the beginning. And by then it didn't even matter anymore. I started reading the third novel, but I think I stopped after a couple of pages... I just couldn't go on, perhaps this summer I'll try again.

I'm making my way through the entire Sandman Series. It's a comic, yes, but one of the greatest comics ever written!
Plus I found a book of essays on Buffy The Vampire Slayer that I'm making my way through. I'll probably go on to Buffy and Philosophy after that.

I just started reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. I absolutely love it so far, and I'm only five pages into the book.

I just finished Virals by Kathy Reichs. (YA book) That one took me a bit to get into, but it was pretty good, though not great. And, now I'm onto Nicholas Sparks' books, starting with The Notebook.
