I'm surprised no one started this yet, so here goes.
What are you reading at the moment? How are you liking it? What are you planning on reading next?
I just finished reading Lioness Rampant by Tamora Pierce. It was a good book, some things about Allana annoyed me, but I still can't decide whether I like her or Kel better. The end made me cry though.
Next I will be reading: A Clash of Kings by George Martin. I liked the first book A Game of Thrones, happy to continue the series.

I just finished Wind in the Willows, which took a surprisingly long time for what isessentially a fairy tale.
I just started Vanity Fair, by William Thackeray, and I am loving it so far! (However, I did embarass myself slightly when, not having really paid attention to the author's name on the cover, I made internal commentary on how much I loved the author's conversational tone and strong female voice. *facepalm*)
Next Up: Who knows? I have a long list of books I want to read over the summer, mostly classics, all downloaded to my kindle, so I will probably just grab one of those.

I think I cried for everyone, but yes, even now I'm tearing up, I kind of knew he was either going to die or leave, but I was still shocked at how it happened. And then again, when she mentioned the constellation, I was in tears again.

Skeleton Crew - Stephen King The Call of Cthulhu and Other Dark Tales - HP Lovecraft Brief Interviews with Hideous Men - David Foster Wallace House of Leaves - Mark Z Danielewski
The first three are short story collections and the third is written in an odd way. I love 3 out of the four(King's are meh other than the mist)
Next up: Nausea - Jean Paul Sartre, Blood Meridian - Cormac McCarthy, Blindness - Jose Saramago, and A Farewell to Arms - Ernest Hemingway

I've read House of Leaves, but I never finished it. I think I just got to the end when all the shit hit the fan, and I was too scared to go back to finish it. Maybe I will this summer.

I'm currently reading V. by Thomas Pynchon; it's very strange, but I like it so far. Pynchon is amazing.

I need to buy that book. Do any of you armadillos recommend it? It really depends on what you like. It's more a psychological horror and mystery, but I thought it was written well. And depending on how brave you are, I would only recommend reading during the day.

I started The Hunger Games around midnight and couldn't go to bed until I finished it around five this morning. (I then had nightmares about it. D: ) Now I'm on Catching Fire (the second book in the trilogy) and loving things so far. (Well, as much as one can "love" a dystopia, anyway. I always feel like that's not quite the right word to use.) I'm also reading American Gods, but as I own that book and I have a ton of library books to get through, it's a bit on the backburner for now since I don't have to return it.

I'm working my way through a reread of The Wheel of Time series; currently on the fourth, and, predictably, planning to read the fifth next (unless I'm distracted by something shiny).

I'm reading The Hobbit right now. It's pretty slow going since I have to study a lot for my biology class (darn summer class) but I hope to read a bunch more books this summer

And then again, when she mentioned the constellation, I was in tears again. I think he shows up again, or is mentioned as a constellation in one of her other books. I'm not sure, though. As for what I'm reading: Bright Young Things by Anna Godbersen, Soulless by Gail Carringer, Bone Gods by Caitlin Kittredge, Dead Until Dark by Charlane Harris, and The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
