I feel stupid because I've already spammed every other board with all of my opinions and I haven't even introduced myself!!
I'm Ashlee. I'm not an English major at all. I attend a community college in a small town in the south and I write poems and paint sometimes. I'm a freshman, I'm the art club president, I live with my lovely girlfriend and our (hers if she has run out of food!) cat. I love reading and I keep The Elements of Style in my purse at all times. I think I may be a book collector? I've never thought of it that way until recently but I easily have more than a hundred books and I'm always looking for more.
I plan on transferring to a university in Manhattan in two years. I'd really like to go to NYU.
I haven't thought about pursuing a degree in English in a while because I'm more taken with history and, in particular, Classics. But I went to a high school for creative writing and English is more than etched into my blood. Hope you don't mind I'm here!
