Olive, that owl tat is awesome. I'm glad everyone seems to like the owl tat, but really, hers was so much more impressive. I wish you could see it, but it feels like it wouldn't quite be appropriate to post a photo of her.

I have two/three at the moment. I have the outline of England on the inside of my right ankle, which was my first; there's also a small dot where my hometown is. My second (and third) are on my shoulders. On the left is an infinity sign, and on the right, phi. I got them to go together, so even though they are separate on my skin, I still kind of class them as one tattoo, hence the two/three etc.
The next one I want to get is a dun horse rearing on the outside of my left ankle. My grandma died in April and she was mad about horses (as am I) and Dollar was her last horse, the only one I met and he was a dun.
But I've got sooooo many ideas (including some Supernatural ones! high-five Dodger thirteen!).

I don't have any tattoos of my own (I'm too young), but on my 18th birthday I plan on getting several. The first ones I want to get are "rage" on my left shoulder and "love" on my right, with an x in the middle on my spine. From the Green Day song Jesus of Suburbia "I'm the son of rage and love/The Jesus of Suburbia". So it's to show my love for Green Day, my love for that song, and I generally love the whole rage and love concept (it's almost bipolar in a way, and as someone with a mental condition I can appreciate that). The second I'd like to get is a Golden Snitch from Harry Potter, with the words "I am about to die" with it. It seems to be a weird quote to get, but that line and that whole scene just spoke to me and I absolutely adore it. As for other tattoos that aren't as well planned, I'd like to get a bass clef, possibly with the dots changed into stars, because I love playing bass and I think a clef tattoo would be fitting for a musician

I have two tattoos. My first one was my 18th birthday present from my mom. It's headphones on my foot/ankle. The picture is from immediately after it was taken so please ignore the redness. My second tattoo I got this past September. I went into the shop to get pierced and ended up with a tattoo. It's an *NSYNC tattoo. My artist thought I was ridiculous. There's a story behind it though. I'll explain if asked, haha. (If the boob makes anyone uncomfortable just let me know) I have a couple other tattoos planned but I'm not sure if I'll ever get them. I've been toying with the idea of getting a Boy Meets World tattoo for about two years now.

I think it's so cool that you have an *NSYNC tattoo. SO cool.

Ahh. That's an awesome tattoo.
Did your ankle hurt? I always hear that they're supposed to but mine didn't. I have a friend that has about 80% of his body tattooed but he won't get his ankles done because he's afraid of the pain. This guy has his penis tattooed and thinks ankles hurt. I barely flinched when I got mine though.

Well, it kind of goes around the actual ankle bone, so it avoided the worst part, but no, I didn't think it hurt at all, really. My shoulder ones were much worse and I've heard NOTHING but bad/incredibly painful things about foot tattoos (as in, top of the foot). I think that's really, really strange of your friend; I've never really heard that the ankle is supposed to be one of the most painful areas, or at least, not as often as I have other places. But if he's that convinced about it, then it probably would really, really hurt if/when he got tattooed there because of the psychological aspect!

I can imagine shoulders hurting. Ouch. My foot wasn't that bad at all. It wasn't much worse than when my boyfriend's cat uses my feet as a scratching post. When I got my *NSYNC one I was afraid to talk to my artist because it felt like the needle was going to puncture my lung or something.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a Boy Meets World tattoo for about two years now. GET THE BOY MEETS WORLD TATTOO. The story is really boring but I will tell it anyway. Basically, *NSYNC was the first band I truly loved without the influence of my parents and all of the other crap that comes with that. There's a line in the song No Strings Attached that has come to have a lot of meaning in my life. "If you want it, here's my heart, no strings attached." I aspire to that. I want to one day be able to hand over my heart to people. I want to be able to just give something everything that's in me but I'm too afraid to let myself go like that. The tattoo is like a sappy, sentimental reminder of what I want for myself in the future. As for the Boy Meets World tattoo it will probably one day happen when I'm bored and have expendable money. Every few months I just get this overwhelming urge to have "life's tough, get a helmet" with the globe underneath it on my hip.
