ASoIaF drinking game: take a shot whenever someone says "I'll do this the next time I see you/when I return," then dies while apart/away (ex: Ned's "I'll tell you about your mother the next time I see you," Robert's "I'll listen to your super-important information about my wife sleeping with her brother when I get back from this boar-hunt," Robb's "I'll marry a Frey after the war," etc.).

I actually used "Words are wind" in conversation today. I only got strange looks.
I have said "Winter is coming" and gotten some smiles, however.

I keep having "Winter is coming" and "the cold winds are rising" circling my brain. It's irritating, though amusing. My screensaver at work says "Winter is coming."

I once saw a woman on the subway reading the same ASoIaF book as I was... and when I peered over her shoulder, we were only 60 pages apart! I was this close to saying something, but figured I'd just stand nearby and read mine and we'd have a silent agreement.
