Sorry, the mod is Creepin'. Are you stuck down in the middle of the Mitten? Is that why you don't like your geographical location? Haha. Yes! Haha. I go to CMU, which isn't a very prime location, but it feels like home (especially since I live about 40 minutes east in Midland... which is where I've lived for the past 10 years, so I know the middle of the mitten all too well!) I love my profs, but I do get jealous of you lucky people who get to live and go to school in the U.P. Haha, yay, someone's jealous of my U.P. status! Most of my downstate friends (I went to high school in East Lansing and whenever I talk about going "home" for a short period of time, I mean Ann Arbor) make fun of me because they claim that no one lives up here :-P

I'm definitely staying to get my MA in English Lit, and maybe economics if I like it after this semester. That way, I can hopefully get a job as: a) an editor at a publishing house, b) economic researcher for the Fed, c) teach, d) open a business, or e) travel with money from who-knows-where. Maybe with an MRS degree. Haha.

Become a starving artist in some big city living in a shabby apartment until I become successful.
And when I get bored of that, I'll likely end up starting with some publishing company or some such. ^_^

Probably not the most original, but after I get my BA in English Lit I would really love to teach.
I'll probably teach high school for a few years for a foundation and then try to get a Masters. My real goal is to teach English Lit at a college level, mainly because it seems easier to teach at a college level. You can expect a certain level of maturity from college students and instead of teaching regular English 2 I could teach a specific class like Major American Writers or something like that.
