Oh wow, I didn't know there was an introduction forum. Hi! My name is Amanda, but most of my friends just call me Mandy or Manders. I''ll be switching to the English Major this semester and I'm a little nervous about it since I've been thinking this over since I took Modern British Literature. I live in the island of Puerto Rico located in the Caribbean, and I study at the University of Puerto Rico on the Mayagüez campus. I was originally a Biology major, but after a while I came to realize it just wasn't want I wanted. I had entered to make my father happy, but in the end I wasn't very happy. I love reading, archery, video games, and writing. I know enough about sewing to patch up my cloths, and am currently knitting myself a scarf! It's a pleasure to meet you all! (Sorry it if seems like too much info, I talk too much. )

Welcome to the Fez! You are among much scarf-knitting company (though personally, in the midst of a New York City heatwave, I can't even think about winterwear at the moment). Also, archery is cool. This makes you cool by association.
Also, it is never too much info. We're big overtalkers here. It comes with the English major territory.

Thanks! I can relate to the whole sweltering heat part: here's its hot all season round. The only times we get a break is when it rains, which we can get for weeks at a time. It can get really hot and humid, which makes the environment sticky :/
