I'm looking into colleges now (scary!) and I'm wondering if you guys who are already getting their higher education have any idea of what colleges have a good reputation for their undergraduate creative writing program? It's so hard to know which programs are actually really good because rankings and things seem so subjective. So I figured people already on the inside might hear things that might be useful for me to know when choosing a college.
I'm already looking into Knox, Emerson, Hollins, and Florida State. (course I won't be able to go to the private schools unless I get a damn good scholarship, but I might as well apply).

Look at University of Iowa. No joke. The Writers' Workshop here is amazing and a lot of fantastic writers have gone there. Plus, Iowa City is one of the few cities to become a UNESCO City of Literature.

Thanks It's one of my goals in life to attend their graduate program, actually.

Is there no way to fix the spelling of "undergraduate" in the title of the post? It's hurting me.
EDIT/// YES YOU CAN! JUST MODIFY THE POST!

I hope to attend their Writers' Workshop as well, but I'm definitely not holding my breath haha. I'm sure there are other great schools for undergraduate but since I've lived in Iowa my entire life and was interested in writing at the age of 16 I set on attending University of Iowa. Never really looked elsewhere.
