Great Gatsby fad?

Has anybody else noticed that there's lately been a surge of appreciation for The Great Gatsby? I feel like everywhere I look lately, there's some t-shirt/game/comic related to it, and I'm not sure why.

I've been blaming it on the hipsters, but then, I blame the hipsters for a lot of things.

It's probably the movie hype surrounding it. Or maybe it is the hipster thing right now. I appreciate the appreciation for it.

It's because it's not that long and revolves around superficial luxury and therefore it is the only book that non-readers read in high school (and life). so overrated!
