I just remembered this topic! This is the main English/Communications/ general Liberal Arts building. Old Admin (named because it's the old Administration building). It's really nice and pretty new-looking inside and has the best bathrooms of any of the bathrooms I've been to on campus so far.

I go to University of Glasgow so I was expecting to have classes somewhere Hogwartsy like the Main Building: But the two buildings where I have most of my lectures and tutorials actually look like this: I couldn't find any pictures of the building with my English lit lecture hall, I suppose because it's really tiny (just the lecture hall and two seminar rooms) and not particularly pretty, only a generic building. But my English lit tutorials as well as the offices of the English lit faculty are in this row of Victorian terraces: They look boring, but they're really pretty inside because they have a lot of the original furnishing/paint/stain-glass/etc. The library is a cement 70s brutalist monster too, but it's really huge (12 levels and 2 million items in stock) and full of comfy chairs so it's not too bad. It's a bit of a shame that the buildings are so different from each other and there's no unified look/feel of the campus, mais c'est la vie. I love how full of green spaces the campus is (it's right next to a park and about 5 minutes away from the botanical gardens too) and my favourite places are the green patch outside the library and the benches on the western side of the main building. It's so nice to be able to sit on the grass and read on a sunny day. I'm at the University of Glasgow, too. Hello!

Radcliffe Camera! <3 I studied abroad at Oriel a couple of years ago. Which college do you attend, Bob?

I'm at Brasenose, so when I say that the RadCam is my local library, I really mean it. Unfortunately, there's building work on the front quad now, so the glorious view in the first picture is obscured by porta-kabins and whatnot.

That blows, the building work I mean. When I was there, a good portion near...Blackwell's? was under work. And all of London was under siege from construction as well, with the Olympic Games coming there next year.
