Maybe a food/culinary board? A LOT of the threads I see end up getting off topic, talking about food. We could share recipes, have a "What's for Dinner?" thread, discuss literary baking/cooking... that way we could keep some of it out of the discussion.

And tea recipes, or cocoa recipes.

I second recipe sharing, especially as my boyfriend and I are cooking more and more.

Thirding this! I'm starting a baked goods catering company and need a place to vent about the fact that all my pants inevitably end up stained with cocoa powder.
... and, looking down at my I-swear-it-was-white-this-morning shirt, my shirts do as well.

I would LOVE a food board! I can't believe no one thought of it until now.

I love cooking and collecting recipes like I was in a "Tales of ____" game. I fifth this!

I heartily agree with this. I'll learn to cook off of all of you (because I am a TERRIBLE cook). And then a separate thread for cookies must be created.

"Food, glorious food! We're anxious to try it. Three banquets a day -- Our favourite diet!" I was once in an AmDram production of Oliver and my dance group dressed up as chefs and tap-danced whilst singing this song. We also had to hold rolling pins, and on opening night, one girl forgot hers. It was very funny. /irrelevant anecdote.
