Erm, hey. I no longer have any idea what I'm meant to say.

I'm Ash. Go figure. I run GetOverTheFear, so spend a lot of my time reading short horror stories. In fact, it's got to the point where the internet has pretty much run out. It's hard to find new material.

I'm also ashes-inthesnow. Used to be pondermethis.

I go under the pen name of Ash Shields, because I dislike my actual last name.

I used to exclusively write horror. Then I started to delve into romance. I recently tried a bit of sci-fi, and now I'm working on a comic with a mate or two. Occasionally I write reviews for student magazines and the like. I'm currently trying to push through a very long and particularly tough bout of writer's block.

I intend to get published one day. If I don't make a living out of it, I'll resort to journalism. Failing that, I'll teach English. Or Media Studies. I already dread the marking.
