Summer Classes

I know some of you are taking them, so I wanna know what you're taking. Has your class started yet? How do you feel about it thus far?

I'm taking three: Intro to Statistics, Ancient Greek Philosophy, and Introductory Linguistics. My philosophy professor said I was committing academic suicide.

I'm taking one: French Writing II. It's intersession (meaning it's 6 weeks long instead of 13), which is really the only reason I took it. I started May 12, I think, so this week is my last week.

It's okay; it's still a bit below my skill level, but if I skip any more French classes, I won't have enough credits to get any sort of degree in French! It's an easy A, but it's so boring that it's a struggle to go to class every day.

First Nations 300: Land as Life; First Nations 380: Performing Identity; Acting 209: Acting for Non-Theatre Students. (I'm taking the last one because I needed 3 extra credits and as I dropped my theatre minor I'm technically not a theatre student anymore, even if I've been in theatre for 2 decades. HAH! I'm working the system.)

My classes end this Thursday, and I have the rest of the summer off to read what I want.

Anatomy and Physiology. I wanna die. I went to bed thinking about the names of bones and woke up thinking about the names of bones. I love it, though.

American Short Story. So far it has been pretty boring because it is stuff I've already read (some even with the same prof!). I am not really paying attention and zone out to think about bones. I have a paper due in a couple weeks and am trying to come up with topics. Either religion in Young Goodman Brown or sexuality in Willa Cather's Paul's Case.

I'm taking Biology and Biology Lab. They both end July 22nd. I can't wait for them to be over, they're annoying classes.
