Does anyone have them? Is anyone planning on getting one? 1. I have two feather pens on my right side that represent my love of literature in general 2. Once I get my degree, I'm getting an owl carrying a skeleton key, taking from the archetype of the owl representing wisdom and the key being the key to knowledge (I know, it's SOOO original, but I've been planning this owl since my freshman year of high school when I first read about Athena in Edith Hamilton's Mythology) 3. I want to get either "We are such stuff as dreams are made on" in white ink on my left arm, facing me so that I see it when I write, OR Something related to Ophelia's garland speech on my foot. I have a few ideas but they aren't solidified at this point. I don't want to be too Shakespeare redundant. So those are my literary related tattoos. And there's a horrible picture of my feather tattoo. I have three others but they aren't related to English at all.

I have a Bible quote on my left leg. I didn't get it for literary reasons, but it is a literary tattoo.
ETA: For some reason the photo isn't showing up, so I'll just tell you the quote.
"And she kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart." Luke 2:19.
I'm sure I'll get more literary tattoos, but except my HP one I don't have any current plans.

No literary tattoos currently, though I do have the Leo constellation on my back--just little blue stars in pattern. My friend and I are saving up to get HP tattoos after the movie comes out; I'm getting the Deathly Hallows symbol (circle in a triangle, bisected), though I haven't figured out where, and she's getting "One can never have enough socks" on her foot. I don't have any good pictures of mine! Sorry.

I don't have any yet but if I did I think I'd turn my body into a puzzle that people would have to figure out.... a bar code that when scanned leads to a book of some signification which leads the investigator to.... It would be fun. Then the treat after figuring out an extensive body puzzle is..... Nacho Cheese and Pixie Stix.....

This sounds like some crazy Da Vinci code story...except you would have to be dead for them to look at your puzzled body fully, and the prize would have to be like, Jesus' body.

I've got plans for three more tattoos, all of which are quotes. The next is Shakespeare, "There is no darkness but ignorance," and then there are Nietzsche and Heinlein to follow.
Why must they be so expensive, and why must I have to worry about future employers disliking them.

I know a girl with "Everything was perfect and nothing hurt. -Kurt Vonnegut" tattooed on her arm.
Facepalm for days.
