I thought I'd make a thread on this since I couldn't find one!
So far I've read Beauvoir, Proust, a little Camus, Moliere and Sartre. To explain my love for Beauvoir, think about the fact that Rowling created the Potter Universe, so she has a great mind & imagination, but Beauvoir is the best woman I could ever know about, and I'm so sad I can never meet her. She's my role model at the time. As for Proust, many of the people I know thought he gives too much details and gets boring, but I find it rather interesting for introspection and introverted people.
Other french people you like?
