Also never said that I hate babies. Just that the baby-THEME is not my thing, and that I feel it is cliche and overused. So I was never saying that Brennan should have a miscarriage because I don't like them. She should have a miscarriage because it would make things interesting. I dislike ooie-gooey cheesy family road that the show has decided to go down. It just isn't, in my view, fairly interesting. Because it is cliche and over used in every friggin' form of media on the planet. I agree that "ooie-gooie cheesy family" plotlines get rather dull rather quickly, but we'll see how they spin it. And hopefully not all the episodes will revolve around the pregger-plot as much as this first did. There's also bound to be marriage-drama, since Booth is all about the rings and Brennan doesn't see the point of it... So that might be interesting. I want high drama, and I want it now! |

They can, just...not well. It sounds awful. I liked the premiere. I liked that both Bones and Booth were in-character throughout it. I like that Booth is basically a giant child thinking about how Bones is going to have a kid. I like how reasonable Bones is about her pregnancy, but more on a biological level. I think Bones having a kid right now is important for her character development. Yes, the writers were pressured into it because Emily Deschanel is preggo fo'realsies. But I think they are all doing excellently with the situation they've been presented with. Then again, Emily Deschanel is my hero. I completely dislike her sister, to the point of now twitching whenever she's on-screen, though. |
