Inception was so disappointing.
The 'Lone Wolf and Cub' series, however, is never disappointing.

Pirates of the Caribbean (all four - yes, I like the new one) The new one was awesome! The middle two are the ones that sucked. Honestly, they should have cut Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley ages ago and had it just be The Jack Sparrow Show Featuring Jack Sparrow (Tonight's Special Guest: Jack Sparrow). Would've been an improvement. Also: the mermaids were fucking awesome.

Jack Sparrow is so much better The mermaids was amazing. (And the cleric was rather good-looking.)

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is at the tip-top of my list. From there it's a bunch of toss ups that can include films like Pulp Fiction, Eraserhead, Waking Life, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Natural Born Killers, Gone with the Wind, Fantasia, Being John Malkovich, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Whip It, and Fellowship of the Ring. Depends on the day, like everything else in my life.

Velvet Goldmine! Most of my other favorites have already been mentioned. Cap ou Pas Cap is a wonderful French movie if you're feeling subtitles.

Les Chansons D'Amour is my comfort movie. I am pretty sure I know it by heart.
The Lord of the Rings movies are my nostalgia movies. They take me back to my youth.
The Talented Mr. Ripley is my shame movie. I know it's weird that I have so many feelings about it, yet I do.
Empire Records is my romance movie. Also it has an excellent soundtrack.
10 Things I Hate About You is former comfort movie. Now it makes me sad. This is actually not related to Heath Ledger.
Wings of Desire is my pretentious movie. I tell this one to all the film majors so they won't mock me.
Primer is my thinky thoughts movie. I watch is again and again and it is still fascinating.
Batman and Robin is my good times movie. I love it passionately. I think it is the best Batman movie. This is completely unironic. There is so much glitter and it makes me want to weep tears of joy.
I am going to stop now, before anyone dies of boredom.

Oh honey, trust me when I say that there are plenty of movies that we each of us loves but forgot to list here.
Dead Poet's Society is one, for me at least.
