The Silence of the Lambs. AAAAH I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I saw it first when I was 8 (and adored it) -- suffice to say, my mothers were less than thrilled to find me watching it so enthusiastically. It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again! Sooo many good quotes.

THIS. Fuck the naysayers, this was an awesome movie. Yes. Yes, it was. And, three views in, I would happily watch it again.

V for Vendetta Fight Club Saw series (guilty pleasure of mine; VI is my favorite, but I have enjoyed all of them) Monty Python and the Holy Grail (yes, I like it more than Life of Brian) Dogma

My favorite scene in the movie is when the girl runs up to Olive telling her that Brandon ran away with a "big hulking black guy," contradicting her previous theory that Huck Finn was the only novel that didn't match up to "whatever angsty drama you're going through." I also love the scene where she's eating the food in the lunch line in a sexy(?) way, and she turns around to see her teacher. "Don't forget, tomorrow's Earth Day." AHAHA. I'm not even joking when I say I can recite the whole movie. I REGRET NOTHING.

That movie was easily the best movie of the year.

This movie was the ONE TIME where the Movie > Book, though Hopkins pronunciation of Chianti is still shudder inducing. On my list, I'd have to say: Dogma (I'm a former Christian, so the story resonates with me) the recent Casino Royale 300 (It was stylistic, it was violent, and it had half-naked guys), The Dark Knight, (Ledger might even be a better Joker than Hamill) Three Kings (the one with George Clooney) Burn After Reading (I was in tears at the end from laughing so hard)

My film taste varies... Inception Pirates of the Caribbean (all four - yes, I like the new one) The Nightmare Before Christmas Corpse Bride Anastasia (I don't care that it's historically inaccurate, it's a good film.) Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron Sherlock Holmes Horton Hears a Who
And many more, that I either can't quite remember or can't be bothered to type.
