That adaption of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is only good when you go with a group of friends who are drunk. AAAAAH YES. It was made more worser (yes, MORE WORSER) by the fact that the original show was so wonderful. They made Sokka serious.Don't even get me started on the racebending they did with the casting.

I wasn't drunk when I saw it because I was with a group of campers, but that movie made me cringe so much. That's what happens when you try to squish a season's worth of television into a two hour movie.

I will get destroyed for this, as I do everywhere, but Toy Story 3. I just felt they were trying too hard to get an emotional response. It also stole awards from Tangled, damn it!

I completely agree with you! I tried to explain that to the people who I saw it with, but they were too busy crying. Plus, the movie is incredibly unfocused.

I agree with Wall-E, and I definitely didn't think that Toy Story 3 was as great as everyone said, but I wouldn't count it as one of my least favourites.
The worst film I've ever seen though is Benjamin Button. And when I say I've seen it, I mean I watched the first 45 minutes, then watched it on fast-forward until the final scene. It was the worst, most boring film I've ever watched. I couldn't stand it and nor could my mum (who'll watch pretty much anything). For as long as I can remember, my mum's Worst Film Ever has been Eraserhead; Benjamin Button knocked it off. I couldn't-.. I can't... It's just SO BAD. SO BAD!

But they didn't knock anything off, it's based on a novel. (however, if the novel knocked anything off, I don't know)

Of recent movies, I'd have to say Thor. I never read the comics, but for the amount of talking and fake, forced, crappy romance I had to sit through...there wasn't NEARLY enough shirtless blonde guy to make up for it. Oh, and God of Thunder = Pound some goddamn skulls in with your hammer, not make breakfast. *twitch*
I also dislike anything with Michael Cera. God, I hate him.
Also, as an Old School Star Wars fan, I'm contractually obliged to mention the Prequel Trilogy.

Am I the only one here who likes Michael Cera? I've never seen anything he's been involved in without loving it.

My issue with him is twofold: He plays the SAME character everytime, and he apparently was the reason the Arrested Development movie was put on hold for so long because apparently they NEEDED George Michael to make that movie.

What's up with the Indian Zuko...? Am I the only one here who likes Michael Cera? I've never seen anything he's been involved in without loving it. I like him too. He's not the only person to ever be typecast in movies. I also enjoyed Paper Heart, which is apparently an awful movie to the rest of the world. My issue with him is twofold: He plays the SAME character everytime, and he apparently was the reason the Arrested Development movie was put on hold for so long because apparently they NEEDED George Michael to make that movie. THAT BASTARD.

Dinner for Schmucks. It just...no. And Lost in Austen. It was a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE film/miniseries/whatever. I'm a total Austen fan and I can't believe I sat through that.

I can't understand why the people around me weren't having the same gagging reactions. I tried to explain how horribly flat the characters were but nobody agreed I'm glad to be redeemed. Also, there's a Arrested Development movie? And it's Michael Cera's fault it hasn't happened yet? *rawr* I like Michael Cera just fine - he may be the same character every time, but he's very very good at it and I've enjoyed his stuff (I liked paper hearts too). But I love, love, love arrested development and I'm so sad it no longer exists
