Have any of you Armadillos out there read this book? My grandma bought it for me in 7th grade because I'm "her favorite Grammar Nazi and the only one allowed to correct her grammar." I re-read this book all the time, and I even learned a lot of new things from it. While I can't say I still don't make mistakes every now and then, this book definitely helped. It also makes me feel validated, since now I know I'm not the only one who becomes enraged because of simple grammar mistakes (FYEMA was the second validation for me). Another thing I love is the "Punctuation Repair Kit" I got along with my copy of the book. It included stickers of punctuation marks that I have made multiple copies of to use on signs everywhere. I'm a big fan of the "Panda Says No!" stickers as well.

I've read that book. But only once, and I don't consider myself a grammar Nazi because I always make mistakes. I will consult it though, if I need to.

My school librarian read it to us once, I absolutely love it, it's adorable and informative at the same time ^.^

Seeing this thread has just reminded me that we have this book. I definitely will read it.

Such an awesome book. Definitely affirmed my obsession with apostrophes and where they needed to be used!

My grandma gave it to me a few years back. I was delighted when my Grammar prof referenced it in class.

My mom, and English teacher, has that book. I've never gotten a chance to read it all the way through, but I'd sincerely enjoy the opportunity.

If you guys like Eats, Shoots and Leaves, I also recommend you read Literally the Best Language Book Ever: Annoying Words and Abused Phrases You Should Never Use Again. My roommate has it, and it is just lovely

I just got my summer reading list for my junior (high school) classes, and I was pleased to see it on the list. Now I have an excuse to pick up a copy.
