What's that one book that you have a random desire to get your hands on a copy of? I really want an old, leather bound volume of W.B. Yeats poetry.

Every copy of Macbeth I can find. I collect them, you see....
Additionally, I want a new, unused copy of the Collected Works of Ralph Waldo Emerson. Headed to Amazon now to check for some.

Barnes and Noble special leatherbound editions. Of everything. As in, it should be a law for books to look like that.

I have a collection of about ~75 classics from a series that Reader's Digest still continues in secret. They are not abridged, hardcover, illustrated, some have ribbon bookmarks, and the covers are intricately detailed. I inherited them from my grandmother. As far as I can tell there are 100-150 more out there and I want to collect them all. They are fabulous and satisfy my urge for a perfect book.
I want a first edition of North and South. I have the Penguin, but before I bought that, I had trolled Ebay for a copy. Lo and behold, there was a first edition on there for $12. One of my biggest regrets in life has been not buying it.

For the longest time, I REALLY wanted a Shakespeare book that was being sold in a vintage book sale at the library where my grandma works. It's a leather-bound Complete Works of Shakespeare, with dictionary-esque tabs for every play/sonnet, and that awesome gold covering on the edges of the pages. I finally got it. ;D Now that that one's scratched off my list, I would really love to get my hands on a complete collection of the Barnes and Noble leather-bound classics. Honestly, I need more bookshelves to fit all the books I want. I have two that are completely filled, with books piled on top of rows and stacked on top of the shelf itself.

I'm collecting volumes of a specific edition of History of my Life by Casanova. I have all but 3/4 and 7/8. I check their availability on amazon every few months. I WILL HAVE THEM.

I don't understand people who like leatherbound books, they're just gross. Why would anybody want animal corpses in their library? Although I have been trying to get my hands on a boxset French edition of In Search of Lost Time for the longest time.

GLORIOUS! Need more. They're so beautiful oh my god when I first bought mine I literally just sat there touching, smelling, and looking at them. I love the way the pages feel, too. I have the editions of Wicked, Grimm's Fairy tales, and Interview with a Vampire.
