Has anyone read much P. G. Wodehouse?
I used to love the Jeeves novels on audiobook when I was about twelve, and recently picked out a book from my uni library. I was a bit disappointed; it was a book of short stories rather than a novel, but entertaining nevertheless.
I'm going to get out The Code of the Woosters next, which I recall enjoying immensely on audiobook.
Also, has anyone seen the TV show with Fry and Laurie? I found it rather disappointing, despite the excellent casting.

My mama keeps telling me to, but I never have. Perhaps I shall. Eventually.

Also, has anyone seen the TV show with Fry and Laurie? I found it rather disappointing, despite the excellent casting. Never read the books or watched the show, but I had a conversation with my voice professor a couple months ago that began with me mentioning Hugh Laurie's performance of "Get Happy" on an episode of House and ended with him dragging me to his computer to watch clips of Laurie singing random songs on Jeeves and Wooster. If the clips themselves weren't enough to make me add it to my to-watch list, the enthusiastic 80-odd professor would have.

I've only ever seen some of the episodes from the series and I loved what I saw. I need to get around to finally reading the books.

I've seen several of the Jeeves and Wooster television episodes on YouTube, but unfortunately I haven't yet read the books. I hear that they're quite excellent (and I enjoyed what I saw of the TV show) so they're on my to-read list.
