I don't know how I do it. It's just one of those things that is. I guess it's because I was always interested and I had people to teach me.
And about singing opera- I wish I could sing. I can't sing anything.

I love to play field hockey. Any other field hockey players out there?
I also sing, play the piano, play the guitar, read, write poorly planned stories, perform in musicals, and play soccer.
I enjoy spending time at the beach, sprawling in lush grass, baking cupcakes, smelling flowers, and walking barefoot.

Rekindling this thread!
I used to have a lot more hobbies when I was in high school--I'm pretty athletic, so at least one P.E. class took up part of my electives, and I loved painting and drawing.
Now that I'm all college-y I do nothing. Maybe it's time to pick up a hobby. Join a club maybe. I've been considering joining a gym to get out of the house and do more than read, write, and internets, but frankly, being around all those people seems exhausting and intimidating.

Hey, reading, writing, and internets can count as hobbies! Yeah, once I hit university all of my other ones kind of died off. I used to dance, ballet and musical theatre, but once I moved away from my studio that kind of died off. Now I'm trying to think of things that I do that can count as hobbies... Puzzles! I love doing puzzles! That counts right? Or does it not, because I don't do them on a regular basis... Sims? This is sad.

The Sims will eat your soul. Also, number puzzles are my big addiction hobby. Sudoku, kenken, minesweeper... ALL DAY EVERY DAY.

The Sims will eat your soul. SIMS IS MY FAVOURITE TIME-WASTER EVER. Although since I got Pets it's been crashing on me a lot, which makes it hard to sit and play for hours - probably a good thing. And I have Sims Medieval which is SO MUCH FUN and eats up a good amount of my life every week. I actually have to hide the discs when I have real work to do because I know I'll procrastinate on the game otherwise.

It's not like regular Sims where you just play with people in everyday life. You have to set up a kingdom and create different sims for different occupations (eg. monarch, knight, blacksmith, bard, physician, wizard) and you have to complete quests with those sims according to their occupation in order to gain points and expand your kingdom. It's a blast.
