I practice my handwriting a lot when I'm bored in class, but I don't really think anything of it. It's legible but it gets terrible when I'm sleepy or not paying attention. My cursive sucks hairy balls. The loops you see on the page are sort of a practice exercise one of my friends taught me to improve handwriting. You do the loops over and over again and try to make them the same. It hurts and takes a lot of concentration, but it works. My handwriting has become a hundred times more legible after practicing making loops like that. I'm also left-handed so the fact that you can even read my handwriting is probably a miracle. Half my family is left-handed and whilst you can't read my mum's writing, my dad's and sister's is fine, Actually, now that I think about it, apart from my mum, everyone I know who's left-handed has really clear writing.

I'm also left-handed so the fact that you can even read my handwriting is probably a miracle. I would say that your hand writing is far from poor. Honestly I think I am naturally left handed, however since I was a child I have been taught to do everything, including writing, with my right hand. As such I often refer to myself as ambidextrous because "both my hands are equally crappy." One has no training and the other has no aptitude. ha ha

This is such a handy tip, and now that I think of it we did similar things in my calligraphy class.

It changes based on the angle, but my handwriting is a print/cursive hybrid. I like the bottom one better than the top one. Also, I'm left handed as well, so writing in general is just a teensy bit more difficult. Attachments:

In my entire family it's only me and an aunt that are left-handed. Someone told me once that those who are left-handed have terrible handwriting.
I think the bane of every leftie's existence is gel pens. And the graphite smudges on the side of our hands from writing in pencil.

I'm going to start writing backwards like Da Vinci.

And the graphite smudges on the side of our hands from writing in pencil. I get that when I draw for a long period of time. I used to call it the "Artist's Mark" because the entirety of your right/left-hand's side was just covered in graphite.
