I really like Biblical names, that not having anything to do with religion at all. I really like names like Michael, Gabriel, Raphael... and common names like Alexander, Edward (forever a besmirched name) Logan. They just sound so majestic and strong. I mean with Biblical names you instantly think of powerful archangels (unless of course you know some asshole with those names) and then Alexander the Great, Edward Rochester, Catherine the Great, or Petr, I mean at least that's what I instantly think of when I hear the names, not always about the people I know. That's pretty much exactly how I feel. high-five! YEAH!!! *Return High-Five*

The BBC Sherlock was amazing. I was LIVID with the way it ended though...at least before they announced a new series. Oh god, was I mad... What's odd though is that I can't sit through an episode completely, I have to do other things while I'm watching, sometimes even pausing for several minutes. It might have to do with the fact that each episode is like an hour long, and my attention span is not that great.

The Dodger lies! The Immortals series is my second favorite (after Lioness). And if you want a specific cover, try the amazon marketplace (I feel like an ad every time I mention it, but it's so true!). Find the edition with the cover you want, and there's a 99% chance (if it's an older edition) that somebody's selling a used copy of it for $0.01 (+$3.99 shipping, but still drastically cheaper than most other places). Thanks for the advice, I'll try that!!

Just to win over your tender maiden heart, I shall brave myself against this task and attempt to conquer it's intricate plots to please you. *gets shot*

Hello, my name is Marina. I read the first Harry Potter book in sixth grade, so I was about eleven. I read it in Russian, because I didn't speak English well yet. But I don't think I've read the rest of the series until late middle school, or maybe even high school, that's when the last book came out. I read the last one a year after everyone else did, because I didn't want to buy it.
Sirius is my favorite character, and I cried for the rest of book five after his death and I'm pretty sure I was depressed for days afterwards. Same thing happened after Dumbledore died, and Doby, because I know all of you weeped like little babies at that part in the movie! Admit it!

Ha-ha thank you. I felt kind of bad for not liking it though, especially because I love Nathan Fillion in Dr. Horrible and Castle. And most of my nerdy contemporaries love it, and I wondered if there was something wrong with me. Maybe I need to give it another try.

Yeah, I got lucky because after we started whining she backed off with the grammar, and I kinda knew the endings because once you learn the rules when you're young, you kind of don't forget.
I image Latin would be harder cause no one speaks it nowadays.

so I assume learning the language would be oodles of fun. Actually it's a total bitch, even when you're somewhat proficient. They make you memorize scores of tables of cases and grammar rules and then more tables for their exceptions (you can't come up with silly rhymes for all of them); everything in different in Russian grammar, including comma placements and capitalization. It made me want to scream when I was taking a refresher course.

Yeah, I think the girl irritated me slightly too, although the girl's character is annoying in general in both of them. But you're right the American werewolf actor is much more... much-ier.
Pellegrino should move up to movies. Theaters would be full. I think it's his eyes, they're hypnotizing.

I'd love to learn Russian, too; I think that's the fault of my sister's ex-boyfriend, who was Russian and super-nice and we made him say stuff in Russian all the time and it was so. cool. Maybe I should start teaching you people. Lol

Teeheehe, I already speak two languages fluently. But I would love to speak French more proficiently, learn Italian, Greek, Arabic, a little of Latin and maybe learn at least some basic of Mandarin or Cantonese. Spanish too, but it's not on high priorities list... maybe if Antonio Banderas was teaching, then I'd reconsider.
