Ooh, I agree. Lots and a lot I also dislike in writing. There are so many better words to use.

The word "cake". Not the object itself - I do love baked goods - but there is just something unappealing about that word, particularly if coupled with "chocolate". I think it's due to my aversion to chocolate cake, but to me, when saying that phrase, it feels as though I'm choking on it.

I know what you mean; "cho colate ca ke" has too much of the harsh " k" sound crammed into not much space. The cho king feeling is to be expe cted. ... I'm having too much fun bolding ks...

*starts sobbing* I can't pronounce it. My accent just comes out full force. I kept trying to pronounce it and kept failing, I have to make a ridiculous intonation to do it. *keeps sobbing*
