I love fountain pens. I had one a few years ago, but it disappeared and I haven't managed to buy myself another yet. But I shall, eventually. In the meantime, I use pens with the more liquid kinds of ink. The stains are definitely worth it.

I can honestly say my 65euros were completely well spent either way. I'll write this pen into the ground. What type of pen/ink do you use? I mostly use a Lamy Al-Star with a Fine nib, and it's a fairly robust, but adaptable nib which has developed to my writing style (I've had it for a bit over a year now), so I never have any issues with blotting (unless I fall asleep in class). I've had almost no issues with ink, either, but when intentionally mucking around with stained fingers, I've found saliva actually works wonders getting it off, and I use the darkest black available (this is for lamy ink though).
