Where do you prefer writing?

I tend to have to be at a desk to write. I find otherwise I'll search for distractions around me, or I get too relaxed and can't get into the right frame of mind! My mother is threatening to get rid of the desk in my room when I graduate since 'I obviously won't need it any more'. No. You are wrong, mother. Need my desk with a burning passion!

If I'm writing in my notepad, however, I can be just about anywhere. I went through a phrase over Easter of cramming myself into the corner of the sofa and filling an entire notebook with my creative writing assignments in the space of a couple of weeks. So it is more about inspiration than where I actually sit. Still, desk in general.
