Is anyone else watching this show? I've actually found myself getting really into it, even if some of the acting (coughREGINAcough) is kinda bad and the special effects are awful, but that's to be expected from a TV fantasy show that isn't HBO. And I mean most of the resolutions to the fairy-tale plots are predictable, since they do the exact same thing in every episode even though it always turns out badly. Still, it's entertaining, and definitely interesting to see how they translate the fairy-tale characters into the modern setting and story.
Soo, yes. Anyone else? What'd you think of this week's episode? I was actually kind of bored and disappointed by it, which bothers me, because Rumpelstiltskin is the saving grace of that show sometimes and it was HIS episode.

I really like the show too, I like the twists and turns and figuring out who everyone is. But, call me dumb, I do not understand the time-progression... or not entirely. The town was frozen, but some people aged some didn't, someone was pregnant for 28 freaken years. I do not envy her.

Yeah...I don't get that either, to be honest haha. I really try not to think about it too much because if I do it starts to bother me and then I get distracted and can't manage to wrap my brain around it.
Time's also something I have a bit of trouble with in the fairy tale flashes. Sometimes (depending on the episode) I have a hard time figuring out where that episode's fairy tale flashes fit into the timeline.

I think someone on Tumblr or LJ is trying to make a timeline for the story, but I unfortunately don't have the link.

*coughGrimmisbettercough*
I watch the show, but I can't really get into it. Was so annoyed at the death in the episode before the winter hiatus. Favourite character again died.
But I can't really get into the show otherwise because it's all Disney fairy tales, not Grimm or Anderson or anything else. Makes sense, I guess, since ABC is owned by Disney.

Okay, there are spoilers in this post, just in case anyone hasn't seen this week's episode and cares haha.
I was so devastated when they killed Graham, I loved him. He was one of the better characters on the show and I think that's why I was so annoyed with this week's episode, because they basically didn't address that at all. The only thing they really talked about regarding his death is who should be sheriff next and Gold tried to get Emma to be all heartbroken by showing her a box of Graham's stuff. Graham was getting to be a fairly significant character with what he had going on with Regina and Emma and they just don't talk about it? His death had absolutely no effect whatsoever except they were lacking a sheriff.
Also, I was really irritated by the fact that they tried to make Rumpelstiltskin a sympathetic character. I know they were really making an effort but they failed pretty hard at it. I didn't like it and frankly the entire episode bored me.

I like it, but mostly because it was filmed where I live, haha. It's very surreal to see everything changed, but then realising I had just eaten lunch at (wherever).

Don't even get me started. He was my favourite fucking character and JUST AS WE ARE STARTING TO GET SOMEWHERE REMOTELY FUCKING INTERESTING, he ups and dies. WTF, ABC. WTF. I agree that his death had no effect. Fuck, they barely brought it up in the following episode. Completely baffling why they did it aside from possibly to be ~edgy~. Or possibly because of what happens in Game of Thrones. IDEK. As for Rumplestiltskin...dude, Robert Carlyle? Fucking creepy. Though, I like him better here than in Stargate:90201 I mean Universe.

He is SO GOOD at being so horribly creepy! He's like my favourite character which is why I was so annoyed that his story sucked. I also wasn't terribly impressed by this week's episode, and I'm starting to get really annoyed by the woman who plays the evil queen/mayor. She overacts SO HARD, especially in the fairy tale scenes. I'm starting to lose interest in this show, unfortunately, because I want to know what happens with Henry and Emma. ;_;

I just started watching this show and I'm hooked. I'm currently eight episodes in and sort of love what they're doing with Snow White and Prince Charming (especially Prince Charming. About freaking time he gets a story). Maybe I'm a bad judge for television because I don't watch a lot of it, but I think it's great.
I'm just a little confused; does Mr. Gold know about the curse? Some of the things he says/does lead me to believe he does, but maybe not? Should I just be paying better attention?
ALSO: GRAHAM. WHAT. THE. FUCK. I LOVED HIS MESSY HAIR AND ACCENT SO MUCH AND NOW I NEVER AM GOING TO SEE HIM AGAIN. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND. HE DIED FOR NOTHING. HE REGAINED HIS GOTDANG MEMORY AND DIED BEFORE HE COULD FUCKING USE IT.
Ugh, that aside, I'm still excited to see the rest of this show through. It's my understanding that there are maybe two episodes left before the season finale, so I'm going to watch the hell out of it so I can catch up by Sunday.

Yeeeees I just got caught up after missing an episode. I like what they did there with that stranger-man, and her perception being contaminated by denial, and whatnot. And I loved seeing Regina's backstory (though I don't think it comes close to justifying her crazypants actions). Anyway, looking forward to seeing how they wrap the season up.

The season is now over and so is my life. I honestly believe that there aren't any real villains in this show. I sort of saw Regina's backstory coming, but it's completely understandable why it would affect her the way it did and why it changed. I love every character in the show and simply cannot wait for season two!

MUCHO SPOILERO:
Does it really count as seeing Graham if we only see him in fairytale!flashback? I mean, cool, the Huntsman showed up, but we still know he dies after going to realworldland.

The funny thing about living in a world of magic is that anything is possible. I mean, do the rules still apply in the world of Storybrook (however the fuck it's spelled) as they did before? Writers have done stranger things.
