I'm finishing up Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Last movie was the last Harry Potter. It was beautiful!

I would just like to say that I love Keir Gilchrist. He's the son in United States of Tara and fucking amazing.
Last movie I saw would have to be Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two? I don't think I've seen anything since then.
...No wonder I've been in a shitty mood!

I watched Gattaca last night. It's an awesome movie about genetics, the direction of humanity in the future, and somewhat similar to Brave New World with the classification of people into social classes based on their genetic makeup. Here's a link to the Wikipedia article on the film: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gattaca

I just watched It's Kind of a Funny Story with Keir Gilchrist, Zach Galifianakis, and Emma Roberts. I've been wanting to see that for ages! Hmm... probably Rubber was most recent. Description on Wikipedia: Rubber is a 2010 French horror comedy film about a tire that comes to life and kills people with its psychic powers. It was directed and written by Quentin Dupieux. The film was shown at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. How can I not watch that? It was amusing until I fell asleep (This is what I get for watching movies at midnight, I suppose).

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was pretty bad, honestly (and I'm a huge Potterhead). I would have been so confused if I hadn't read the books before watching the movie.
I do wish they had done the last few novels (which contained a ton of information) in two-part movies. That would have been awesome.

I remember Sirius dying and the fight between Voldemort and Dumbledore, but anything else is a mystery in my mind. Supposedly I've seen it twice or more, but I can't remember a single second past those two scenes.

That was exactly what I meant! I loved Tommy Lee Jones in this film! He stole every scene he was in and added most, if not all, the comic relief that made this movie great. I'm going to miss the 1940s of this movie in the next one, though.

Hynegh Captain America hynegh
Chris Evans in a WWII uniform
Chris Evans punching Hitler 200 times in the face
Chris Evans in the Captain America shirt, leather jacket, and helmet
Chris Evans saying "I'm just a kid from Brooklyn" (Of course you are.)
Chris Evans. Gods dammit, Chris Evans.

Just saw Super 8, and it was better than I'd expected. Recommend it to any folks who don't mind movies in which All Extras Will Die.
REALLY want to see ... but need to kidnap a friend.

FINALLY saw Whip It and loved it. Ellen Page is my home girl. I love roller blading and really, really want to go to a match now. Ah, Whip It is such a cute movie! I agree with Ellen Page being a home girl. I would give her a high-five any day, free of charge.
