Weddings.
I am addicted to weddings. I follow wedding blogs, I watch wedding shows, I plan several different weddings for myself and my bf a month, I cry when I see weddings in shows or movies (one recently happened on Voyager)....
And I'm the punk chick who currently has a buzz cut and mohawk, nose piercing, regularly dyes her hair various shades of the rainbow, dresses in whatever the hell she wants, decries the patriarchy and fucks around with traditional gender roles. I also cross dress and go by the name Chuck for shits and giggles.
But yeah, I fucking love weddings.
And waffles, but that never surprises anyone.
Person below me, do you have any fluffy animal slippers? What are they? If you don't have any, would you, and what would they be?

Yes! I have many! Here is one:
Once upon a time I was down at the old dock on the lake with a friend (I will not say which lake, just insinuate that it was a great one). I climbed out on a tree branch. She yelled "Duck!" So, I ducked and then lost my balance, fell into the water and cracked my head open on the edge of the old dock. She couldn't stop laughing. Why? Because she she hadn't been commanding me to duck, she was pointing out a duck in the water. A duck that stared at me with cold judgmental eyes as I dragged myself out of the water. The moral of this story is that ducks are evil.

My morning routine:
1. Wake up.
2. Grab my iPod and check Tumblr, FYEMA, Twitter, Facebook, and my email.
3. Eat.
4. Tumblr. Lots and lots of Tumblr.

Right now? Hrm...Imma go with Kenny Chesney. Love his music, love the fact that I can actually understand his songs down to the last syllable.
Person below me, why should I watch Doctor Who? (I'm talking an honest to gods evaluation, not a fervent "OMFG ITS SO AMAZING~!!!!lkjakdfsd!".) Or rather, if you are not a Doctor Who fan, why should I not?

You should watch Doctor Who because it is a show about how people are always bigger on the inside. You should also watch Doctor Who because it is silly, because it is heart breaking and because it does things that other TV shows wouldn't dare to do. You should watch it because sometimes it is terrible, but then it turns around and is brilliant. You should watch Doctor Who because it is a show about a very lonely, very old, alien and the love of his life- a little blue box that travels in time and space.
You should watch it because the first season, with the ninth doctor, is all about learning how to love and learning to see the wonder through someone else's eyes when you can't see it through your own anymore. You should watch Doctor Who if only to watch The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances which are amazing. They are well written, well thought out and well executed episodes and they are a reminder that the universe sometimes gives you good days.
(I am not going to talk about Ten, because my feelings about him a mixed and complicated and mostly negative. I really, really, really dislike Ten. I think he is the Doctor at his worst. But then again, Doctor Who is a show willing to make it's hero horrible and I respect that. You should watch the ten seasons because Martha Jones is a woman who is stronger on her own and Donna Nobel is fabulous. The women on this show are seriously amazing. Don't watch the last specials of the era though... except the Waters of Mars.... because they are TERRIBLE.)
You should watch the eleven seasons because Moffett is a madman. They are terrifying and beautiful and deeply like a fairy tale and if you don't think Amy is brilliant, and River is a bad ass and Rory is something precious that you can't quite describe, then you aren't watching the right show.
I don't know if this helped? I feel like it got fan ranty? I think people should watch Doctor Who if they like, space battles, time travel bullshit, ordinary people being wonderful, watching Christopher Eccleson's smile light up the entire universe, a love story about a man and a blue box, random references to historical shit, creepy villains, silliness that coexists with deep deep sadness and horror, and occasionally forgiving a tv show for dropping the ball on occasion.

My favorite shows are Castle, Cold Case, Doctor Who, Bones, and Friends.
