Crap. I'd say the Harry Potter series. But if I had to pick a favorite out of them, I would pick Chamber of Secrets. Person below me, how old were you when you learned how to read, and how did you learn? For me, it was a combination of Arthur books and magnetic poetry when I was 2 1/2.  |

I was three. My mom always read to me while I was in the tub, but she was taking too long, so I got annoyed and started reading myself. I wasn't very good, but I was making progress. She came in, thought I had memorized the book, and gave me another one. I read that one to her too. She said I likely remembered how letter combinations sounded as she held the book in front of me while reading and followed with her finger. I wasn't perfect, but she still brags about that one. The book was Green Eggs and Ham. Person below me, do you know any languages? |
