I like my tea made of steamed milk, cocoa powder, sugar, and hints of cinnamon and vanilla... Mm, hot chocolate... I MEAN TEA THIS IS THE TEA THREAD THIS IS COMPLETELY A KIND OF TEA. I have been on a major hot cocoa binge the last few days while reading. I completely blame you for reminding me I had some. It's actually been a nice break from the excessive amounts of tea I drink. My personal favorite teas are lemon and mint flavours as well as a vanilla almond one I discovered at my grandparents' house. I used to only drink Red Rose (it was what we had at my parents' house), but quickly changed that upon my move to university. I Also love a hot caramel Chai on cold rainy days. Honestly, if it isn't camomile I'll drink it and enjoy it. I never add sugar or milk and I tend to let the teabag sit in the cup for three or four rounds of water.

I bought some Chai when grocery shopping on Tuesday. I haven't tried it yet, but I entirely blame all of you for reminding me that I enjoy said drink.

When making tea at home, I usually drink it straight. However, there is a great tea bar in my area that makes excellent tea lattes.
I am also about to brew some rose milk tea. I read an article about it recently and thought it sounded tasty. I love floral teas!

Rose milk tea! Here is the original posting that piqued my interest: appetiteforchina.com/blog/rose-milk-teaYesterday, I brewed some green tea with rose petals, then mixed in a little rose water, honey, and milk. It was fabulous.

Rose milk tea! Here is the original posting that piqued my interest: appetiteforchina.com/blog/rose-milk-teaYesterday, I brewed some green tea with rose petals, then mixed in a little rose water, honey, and milk. It was fabulous. You should also try rose petal sherbet. By boiling rose petals with sugar and lemon juice, you get a very sweet thick syrup with a really gorgeous colour which you can mix with milk, fizzy water, coffee or tea - the flavour is a lot stronger than that from rose teas. You can also make it from a lot of other edible flowers such as hibiscus, lime or lavender (or herbs like mint) and it's absolutely delicious. If you don't want to make it yourself, you should be able to find it in ethnic markets and shops.

Yorkshire is my brew of choice, although I'm partial to Roobios/Redbush if it's around. Sugar is reserved for when I have a serious hangover. Milk is essential.

Earl Grey and Darjeeling are my favorites. I also have this minty something called World Peace, but I don't know where it ran off too.
I don't put anything in my tea unless it's a breakfast tea.

Redrose, or Tetley. I don't mind P.G. Tips. Lots of sugar, some milk.
If you try to give me Lipton or Earl Grey I may just cry.
I blame my grandparents for my tea pretensions. My grandfather thought it was appropriate to put tea in my bottle, thus an addict was born.
I can't stand Chai because it tastes like the Roman Catholic Church. I cannot explain how, or why, but it does.

My friend recently got me addicted to Russian tea. It's so good <3 Other then that I usually drink youthberry and wild orange blossom mix and a jasmine dragon and rooibos tropica mix

Ooh, tea! I started drinking it a year or so ago.
The best kind of tea to ice is Chai. After brewing, pour over ice. Just a little milk and honey, and voila! Everyone I make it for loves it, and one person occasionally rants about how it tastes like Christmas.
To drink hot, I enjoy green tea and black tea (both plain, of course). I haven't experimented with black teas a lot but I do enjoy english breakfast a lot.
I've only been able to afford tea bags so far but I can't wait until I get to try some brewed with leaves ^_^

If there's one thing I love more than tea, it's teacups! Or perhaps I love them equally. Either way, that is an exciting link!
